Kiana Gizzi, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Psychiatric Provider at Avance Psychiatry in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Kiana earned her Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to graduate school, Kiana gained clinical experience working as a medical assistant in Dermatology for 2 years. She completed her clinical training in various specialties but ultimately found her passion in mental health during her psychiatry rotation in North Carolina. She also has experience in the telemedicine setting.
Kiana previously worked in Gastroenterology and has experience working with a variety of psychiatric-related conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorder. Although Kiana has a special interest in child and adolescent psychiatry, she enjoys caring for all ages. Kiana is extremely passionate about making a difference in her patients’ lives and providing a safe environment for all her patients.
Outside of work, Kiana loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and working out. She is originally from Philadelphia, PA but is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Kiana is excited to call Raleigh, North Carolina her new home.
