Felicia Levine, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant serving patients at Avance Psychiatry in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Felicia attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biobehavioral Health. Felicia completed her Physician Assistant training at George Washington University, where she also obtained her Master of Science degree in Health Sciences.
As a psychiatric provider, Felicia recognizes the link between physical and mental well-being and has extensive experience treating mental illness in all age groups including children and adolescents, as well as the adult and geriatric populations. Felicia enjoys teaching and has adopted a collaborative approach to caring for patients. She provides patient education on diagnoses, as well as psychiatric medication management. She has experience treating children and adolescents with eating disorders through her previous work at a large psychiatric residential treatment facility focused on eating disorders. Felicia is also well versed in the treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, ADD/ADHD, OCD, dementia, and psychotic disorders, and is comfortable in the outpatient setting as well as acute hospital inpatient psychiatric settings.
Felicia is a certified clinical preceptor and is often seen teaching university students. She is an ambassador of the National Health Service Corps and relocated to the RTP area from Maryland. Outside of work, Felicia enjoys spending time with her family and puppy exploring the outdoors including parks and greenways for biking and hiking.
